One thing that was holding me back the most was rehearsing my past, over and over again. It wasn't until I let go of my own negative thoughts, the naysayers and manipulators that I actually started to live my life.
See, most of the time our body may move on but our mind is still held captive. We take all the necessarily steps to move forward only to hold ourselves back through negative talk or remembrance of the past.
Now, I'm not saying you should or will get to a point in your life where you never think of your past. Your past will come up. You will see people or think of people you used hang with. You will think of things you use to do. The difference now is you may meditate on those things, people or mistakes. That is the last thing we should do. That will hold you back from your abundance. The things you wish and dream for. The person you are working to be. You have to graduate to a place where the thought of the past do not make you ashamed, do not make you cry, do not hold you back from living the life you deserve. If you can accept your past you wont be able to embrace your future. Your future of wealth and joy. Growing into your new self will require you to let go of not only your previous habits but your previous behaviors as well.
So accept that you are on the road to change and you don't have to be the same person you were yesterday. You will be in the process of growth for the remainder of your life. So learn the art of letting of the past and embracing your future.
Where we go wrong is we dissociate our personal lives with our financial lives, but they are direcftly related. If you think poorly of yourself that will show in your business practices.
Life and finances go hand and hand. When your finances are in order you can live a quality life. When your personal life is in order you can successfully build wealth. Although money isn't everything, money answers all thing.
